Enrolment
Gormandale & District Primary School accepts enrolments anytime throughout the school year. A private school tour with our principal is a great opportunity to see our school in action. We will take the time to have a comprehensive discussion about your child’s individual educational needs and we can also answer any specific questions you may have.
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. Our school also has additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone.
The Department provides guidance through the Enrolment: Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

If your child is starting Foundation (Prep) in 2026, you will be able to apply to enrol your child in a Victorian government primary school from the start of Term 2, 2025 (Tuesday 22 April 2025).

We offer an information session for incoming prep families in Education Week each year.
The following documentation will be required with all enrolments:
- Enrolment form
- Proof of birth
- Completed Immunisation certificate
- Any other medical/health documents eg. asthma or anaphylaxis plan
