Facilities

The building & facilities at Gormandale & District Primary School are spacious, well maintained and include:

• A main building which has 3 classrooms, a well-resourced library, principal’s office, administration office, staffroom, sick bay and staff & senior girls toilet. Each classroom is airconditioned/heated.
• Our BER building houses a Kinder which is run by Uniting & a spare classroom, which is utilised by the school, OSHC & the Kinder on a casual basis.
• We also have a dedicated art room, 2 playgrounds, an asphalt area for basketball & games, an undercover area, vegetable garden, tennis court, netball court and full size oval. 
• We have recently established three outdoor learning classroom learning spaces for classes to utilise when the weather permits.

Gormandale & District Primary School is well resourced with technology where all children have access to an allocated device. Our classrooms are fitted with interactive display panels. Students in our junior classroom have access to iPads with a selection of apps designed to enhance their learning experiences. Our middle and senior classrooms have a 1:1 laptop available to students to build their capacity to work competently across multiple platforms. Our senior students have access to a shared classroom and drive and education email in order to assist them prepare for high school.
