It is expected that all student’s wear Gormandale & District Primary School’s nominated school uniform. This develops a sense of unity and belonging to the school. Our school uniform allows for practical clothing for school activities and eliminates peer pressure caused by competition with styles of clothing. When all students wear our school uniform it establishes the identity of the school within the wider community. A range of uniform choices for all seasons is listed below:
Polo shirts
- Long and short sleeved navy polo with school logo
Jumpers
- Maroon polar fleece with school logo
- Navy polar/vest fleece with school logo
Shorts
- Plain navy blue shorts without decoration or brand name
Skirts/Skorts
- Plain navy skirts/skorts without decoration or brand name and can be worn with navy blue tights/stockings.
Dresses
- Summer blue and white checked dress – it is recommended students wear black or navy blue sports shorts or something similar underneath.
Pants
- Plain, navy blue track pants without decoration or brand name
Socks or tights/stockings
- Plain white or black socks
- Navy blue tights/stockings
Footwear
- Flat soled boots or runners are appropriate footwear to be worn. No thongs, sandals or cowboy boots are permitted.
Skivvies
- Plain navy or white skivvy
Hats
- Navy broadbrim must be worn in term 1 and 4
- Beanie with school logo can be worn term 2 and 3
Headwear
- Navy blue, maroon or white head bands, hair ribbons, “scrunchies”, or Elastic Bands used to tie up hair may be worn in any colour
- Headwear worn as part of cultural/religious beliefs must be in school colours
